Bunch of fakers...might sound good though. When I was lying on my bed tonight, I put the telly on and saw a Coldplay-concert being broadcasted. Date was 2006, dunno about the place and time. But I wasn't impresses at all. Coldplay is a great band, and I really like their albums, but they don't have that magic when they play live. They're far behind U2...

BUT, they don't call it 1980 or 1981...they call it 42...it's just U2

c'mon guys I do not understand what it's all about this "they try to be like U2 blah blah blah". If so then wtf, as long as the music's great I don't mind if they sound similar to U2. There's the same lame "fan fight" on Michael Jackson forums about Justin Timberlake and Usher trying to imitate MJ.

The only live stuff I've "seen" was that clip on the Fix You video (apparently from a Toronto gig or something?) - that was pretty special, although that could have been altered due to being put on a video...

I'm not fighting, and am not angry about them trying to be like U2...I love it actually, and that's why I keep looking for similarities...makes me feel proud as a U2 fan somehow...

Yea, I got that...I just wanted to see a almost-full live show of them to see how they are...but not every band releases 2 DVDs of each tour like U2 does

I know they put out a DVD from a show in 2003 (before X&Y), and I also torrented a DVD from the latest tour....I think it was the Toronto show you're talking about.

Yes, that one was recorded: It was on TV here in Holland a half year ago. So awesome show
