    - An amazing song, could become classic
    - A great song, could be a keeper
    - Haven't made up my mind yet
    - It has potential but needs some more work
    - I don't really like it

  2. Hard to say with just 1 performance and no studio version yet. I loved what I heard, I love the lyrics too. A great song that could be a keeper for me.
  3. Great song, will be interesting to see how the album version sounds compared to what we heard last night.
  4. A great song, could will be a keeper.
  5. sounds a little like Mercy
  6. In my mind it seems like there's a big jump from being a keeper to being a classic. I'll say it's definitely going to be a keeper and has the potential to become a classic.

However, what really defines a song as being a classic? I think the most recent song U2 has released that could qualify as a classic would have to be Beautiful Day or maybe Vertigo.

Moment of Surrender is regarded as a classic for the majority of U2 fans.
  8. I like the lyrics but the instrumentation is pretty dull for me..... So will need to sit on it for a while.
  9. Ok thank goodness for that. I was thinking, does it have to be a setlist staple to be considered a classic? If that's the case we'd have to dig deep for classics.

Also means Moment of Surrender may be a classic, but we only get teased with extended snippets...
  10. I actually only heard it once - live at Levis. I cant remember anything about it, can't even tell you what I thought in that moment.
I'm currently also not curious enough to play a boot or video of it.

Maybe it's because - when they bring up a new song live, it will never end up the same way on any recording except our bootlegs and then it will get abandoned (North Star, Mercy, Glastonbury, ....) and I just don't wanna have another track I maybe like and then it vanishes.

So no interesting option for me yet to vote (I don't have any useful suggestion for that, though).
